Wax seals

Brass seal

Traditional engraved brass seals with wooden handles, for use with sealing wax. For sealing contracts, affidavits and other legal documents, or providing the perfect finishing touch to wedding invitations and envelopes. Available in either 1" (25mm) or 1.5" (38mm) diameter. See below for range of designs are available. Text may be in upper and lower case. Designs with alternative typefaces, overlapping characters or logos are also possible - please ask for a quotation.

How to use wax seals and sealing wax

Sealing wax

For best results, melt sealing wax in a spoon over a tea-light. Standard size sticks can also be melted by lighting the wick. For large quantities, see our electrically heated wax dispenser (below).

• Standard size sticks (with wick)
  Enough wax for approximately five 1-inch diameter seals. Available in red, green, gold, silver, violet, chocolate, magenta, hot pink, sky blue, mid blue, primrose, black or white.
  £3.50 per stick, or 10 sticks for £29.50.
• Large size sticks (solid wax)
  Enough wax for approximately nine 1-inch diameter seals. Available in "Bank of England Red" only.
  20 sticks for £50.00

How to use wax seals and sealing wax

Electrically heated wax dispenser

For producing large quantities of hot wax for sealing large quantities of documents. Simply press down the lever to dispense variable, consistent volumes of wax. Use in the stand or, for very large documents, use in hand-held mode by holding the pistol-grip. Includes removable drip-tray for recycling excess wax.
