How to change the pad on a Trodat Printy

Printy pads can be easily and cheaply replaced in seconds.

If re-inking the pad, only use Trodat inks or ink supplied by us for use with the Trodat Printy (such as ultraviolet ink or quick-drying ink).

Never use oil-based inks designed for metal numbering machines or franking machines on Printy pads. These types of ink will swell and damage the rubber text plate.
